Fall Looks - Styled by Phoebe Russell

We are pleased to introduce you to Phoebe Russell, founder of Lovejoy Interiors and all-around creative extraordinaire. Phoebe's taste -- her style -- is truly unique and inspiring. As a professional interior designer, Phoebe usually spends her days in meetings with clients, visiting vendor showrooms, perusing stone yards, and visiting project sites, which these days has her bouncing all around New England. Dressing in the morning is usually her first creative output of the day, a time of the day Phoebe relishes. Building her wardrobe and creating outfits has always been a love of Phoebe's, so much so that she recently launched a styling business: The Dressing Room (Instagram: @thedressingroomstudio2023). We are thrilled that one of her first styling sessions was at Dress.

Phoebe had this to say about her recent visit to Dress:

"There are so many covetable items in Dress Boston’s current line up. I have an upcoming trip to the Hudson Valley to celebrate my 14th wedding anniversary. I find that shopping for travel can be a great opportunity to play with a color palette that you can easily mix and match for different outfit combinations to avoid having to pack five bags for a two day trip. So as I walked into the shop, I imagined I'd look for a few high quality statement pieces that could easily be mixed and matched. I also imagined utilizing a range of neutrals, like black, graphite, soft greys, crème and whites, as the colors for my fall Hudson Valley adventure. I'd look to bring in supple leather, cozy cashmeres and suede for added texture. Packing is made easy when you find pieces you can mix and match for endless outfit combinations."
