Our Spring 2019 collection — full of vibrant colors, sleek silhouettes, and beautiful fabrics — is modeled here by businesswoman Lisa Mullan. We met Lisa about five years ago. At the time she was working full time at HubSpot just over the river in Cambridge — she was hired to help transition the company from a private to public company. With an Ivy League education and 15 years working on Wall Street, this Texas-born, former New Yorker, current Beacon Hiller, wife and mom to three young children had her sights set on something rather different: launching a line of underwear that would be equal parts pretty and comfortable. Fast forward to today, Lisa now works full time driving the success of Uwila Warrior, the brand she launched in 2015 with a long-time, trusted friend from college who hails from Marc Jacobs. Lisa said, "We envisioned a brand that would empower women and make their lives easier, leading us to create unapologetically colorful, beautiful, and comfortable underwear that fits every moment of a woman’s life." We can attest, first hand, that they successfully turned this vision into a reality — Uwila Warrior underwear and camisoles are totally seamless, very pretty, and, best of all, incredibly comfortable.
Uwila Warrior underwear can be found at specialty boutiques and online at uwilawarrior.com.
Photographer Erin Little, whose work has appeared in publications including GQ, Food & Wine, Boston Globe, and New York Times, shot the following photos of Lisa in her spectacular Beacon Hill home.
