Summer 2020 Featuring Jaimie Baird

We are pleased to introduce our Summer 2020 Lookbook featuring Jaimie Baird -- styled, modeled, and photographed by Jaimie Baird. Yes, that's right, she was on the side of, in front of, and behind the camera of all of the shots below (even the backdrop, her stunning house on Cape Cod, is of her own design). During a pandemic and time of isolation, what better way to compile a lookbook of some of our favorite picks from our Summer 2020 collection, including looks from Three Graces, Borgo de Nor, Marysia, and Pascale Monvoisin.

A little more about Jaimie. She is one of those people who does so many things, so incredibly well, that it's easiest just to characterize her as an über creative because trying to assign one professional title to her just doesn't cut it. Together, her eye and perspective make her unlike any other photographer/interior designer/stylist we have ever seen (not that there are many with that range to begin with). Rather than try to sum up all that she's currently up to ourselves, we asked her to give us the lowdown herself. This is what she shared ...

"The past year has been a whirlwind! Our home in Osterville that I designed was featured on Martha Stewart Living last October and it's been pretty exciting to see what good exposure can do. Over last fall and winter, I wrapped multiple interior design jobs in Bellport, NY and Tribeca just before Covid hit. When everything came to a screeching halt, I, like every fortunate healthy individual, had to find a new way to work from home. Oh the creative burn was felt hard! We all yearned for human interaction and creative flow. Zoom meetings became the norm for me presenting mood boards, concepts and proposals. I recently started two design projects based here on Cape Cod, where we are currently living, which is thrilling! To have human interaction is a luxury! These past few months have been SO intense for everyone - it's so refreshing to finally get back to work even at a social distance visiting job sites with masks. Some exciting things I am looking forward to are that my Bellport, NY project will be featured in the August issue of Hamptons magazine. Also, just last month a fun Designers Pick feature ran in the July issue of Hamptons magazine.

In addition to my interiors projects, photography is my first love and continues to keep me busy (next to my three children of course :-)) I am the lead photographer for The Class by Taryn Toomey which is also my beloved practice. I recently had a social distance shoot for them and some exciting things that are happening with their streaming service. I am so proud of the images, they have soul and shooting for them is always so rewarding!"
